| LICENSED MASTER CAPTAIN |

| The following is an overview of my sailing experience and Federal qualifications. At the age of 15, I began sailing blue water, having spent time in the south Pacific and eventually moving to Hawaii where I spent twenty years. My first keeled boat was a Morgan out island 49. Through the years I have sailed most every type and design of sailing yacht. The largest being a 90’ custom yacht based in the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. The Marie Chi spent time in the Hawaiian Islands, where I had the privilege of crewing on her. Waters I have sailed include but are not limited to the Pacific both south and north, the Pacific N.W. Including Canada and the California coast. Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Coast Rica and Panama and the Cayman Islands, eastern wall of the Caribbean and almost every island from the US Virgin Islands to Maine, coastal and by way of Bermuda. In addition I have time on the water in the Mediterranean Sea. I have over three thousand days underway making way and 100 % of that time is on the oceans, gulfs and seas. I hold an U.S.C.G. OUPV license as well as a 50 ton Master of steam, motor and sail. With advanced experience in seamanship, fire fighting, navigation, piloting and cruising. |
